Default question about a Jimpul handle

This is the handle of a Jimpul. The design is different from what you would expect. I can't place the motifs on the handle either. Can someone tell me more about the motifs on this handle?

Hoi Godfried,

Iban can be pretty creative carvers - I don't see any details/motifs here that wouldn't be compatible with a genuine Iban origin.

Nice piece, indeed. BTW, you already asked this question a good while ago...

Regards,
Kai

There surely are other neat pieces from your great collection which you haven't posted yet?

It looks a lot like a dragon head. Is that a common theme on Iban swords?
