Default Powder Flask

Just back from a small "antique fair" which was more like a vintage tabletop sale frankly.... you can tell I was not impressed! However I came away with two items at an attractive price, the one I am posting here being a Powder Flask. (The other being what I think is a tiffin box and posted on another part of the forum) Interestingly the flask has the remains of a Western style cut-off lever, comments as to exactly where it might be from are welcome.

Hi David,
My guess is that it is Moroccan, based on the general shape. Quite possible that a western style cut off could have been used. I have attached a pic of a similar shaped Moroccan flask but with the typical North African neck.

Thank you, I think you have the right of it there. I am quite pleased with it being more practical than decorative.

The zigzag decorations are reminiscent of a koumiya I own (pics attached; not sure about the age of it; it came with an ethiopian shotel I bought a couple of years ago).
