Hello again,
claimed to be a 60-year-old (more or less) 'ceremonial' piece. Kind regards, Yves |

I believe this is what they call "Tegyaden /Tagyaden". I've been trying to find a smith who makes these, but with no luck. I've seen few samples on Facebook, but apparently the blacksmiths have no online presence nor any sellers of new pieces. Amazing piece, I love the scabbard as well, Ilongot scabbards look quite distinct.

Hello Sir Chmorshuutz,
I will reach out to my 'contact' (tribal arts) in Central Luzon and inquire on how to reach out to bladesmiths who could forge one for you. Do you have an FB account/email where my contact could reach you? Kind regards, Yves |

Just a gentle reminder to please take this conversation through PM or email and not on this thread. Thank you folks.
