Default Old Vajra

Here is an old bronze vajra I picked up a while back. It measures approximately 4" long. I've always been interesting in dorges and spirit daggers. I am assuming that this piece is bronze, but I guess it could be brass with a heavy patina. Does anyone know how old this one might be based on styling? I've seen pieces from the 12th c. that look like this one, but likewise I know know it could be much later. I do think it is at least 19th c, but
