Dust and Noises*
DEBU dan SUARA BISING

Dust from metal and wood works are common in the workshop. It can cause cancer because your body absorb the dust over the long period.

Debu dapat menyebabkan kanker, karena tubuh akan menyerap debu dalam jangka waktu panjang.

Loud noises from sanding and drilling damage your hearing over long period of time.

Suara keras dari proses penggerindaan dan pengeboran bisa merusak pendengaran dalam jangka waktu panjang.


What To Do?
Apa yang harus dilakukan?

Clean the work area with a vacuum cleaner or a broom.*

Secara rutin bersihkan are akerja dengan penyedot debu.

Use a mask during the work and sweeping the workplace. Mask should be change regularly.*

Gunakan masker selama bekerja dan sapulah tempat kerja. Masker harus diganti secara berkala.

Wear earpiece to protect your ear from damage.*

Gunakan sumbat telinga untuk melindungi telinga anda.

Hi Anthony,

I do hope some people relay the message to carver/maker also. Most of them in remote area and some dont have the time to read this forum. Very good message with indonesian text as well.

Hi, I have sent the soft copy template to a few friends in Sulawesi, Java and Malaysia etc and request them to distribute it in hardcopy to the empu/pande and makers whom they knew.
