I just aquired this "Wahabi" Jambyia and woul like to learn more about this type of daggers. So, any comments are welcomed!

Good catch from the country of pizza i guess ![]() Stu and alnakas are experts. The best is to look at dharia you will see plenty of them you got a good one, I like it Best, Kubur |

Wahhabis are not that well known for producing art :-)
A nice piece, work looks Yemeni. Blade as well. Certainly not Hijazi craftmanship, the region where the Dharia was and is still used. |

Hi Marius, This link will be of help I think. Also if you use the Forum Search facility you will find other references to these daggers/knives/short swords.....what ever you wish to call them. The one you have is a nice example though I suspect not too old and as Lofty has suggested, is of Yemeni origin rather than Hejazi. Stu |
