Foraging about in an old storeroom of ours I found a large Moroccan Powder Flask. The item is made from brass and silver mounts and a core body of Camel bone. The spout may be Ivory. The web has many variants in all sizes. This one seems extremely large at about a foot long.

Hi Ibrahiim.
WOW!! That is a beautiful horn/flask. And very large in size. My guess is that it was used to carry additional/spare powder to refill the smaller flasks carried by individual warriors on foot. Nice find. And appears in good condition. Rick |
