				 | Strange marks on Bosnian bichaqs

I always wanted to know the meaning of these I`ve noticed that the number of the cuts often differs. Sometimes there are four, two etc. Does anybody know the meaning? Last edited by Lew; 8th March 2012 at 05:54 AM. Reason: No hot linking allowed. |

Sorry, I meant the cuts on the back of the blade. Three on the upper knife, seven on the lower one, and as I mentioned, there are knives with only two etc.

These marks seem to be put at the transition point of the spine from flat to rounded . Possibly they are simply decorative ? I know, killjoy ..... |
