Persian/Farsi? Translator Required

Hi,
I think the inscription on this Tulwar may be Persian/Farsi. Reading left to right the first could be an upended 'he' and the second a disjointed 'shin'? An illiterate smith may have copied the inscription from something else and the phrase may be meaningless or not Persian/Farsi. If anyone is familiar with this script I would be grateful for your input.

Sorry I cannot be of any help with the script, but I just wanted to comment on the lovely floral motif in what appears to be a top fuller. Very nice, and I've not quite seen anything like that before.

Hi Ibrahiim,
I look forward to anything you can uncover. I have shown the sword to a native Farsi speaker but unfortunately she was unable to make any sense of the script, she is very young so perhaps it is something outwith her sphere of knowledge.

Hi Charles,
The motif is on both sides of the blade and runs almost the whole length of the smaller top fuller plus it is also on the back edge and again runs most of its length. I have not seen another like it but I believe similar ones pop up now and again.
