This one is not for burning. Now the food has been eaten and drink drunk {nearly} and guests gone home.

This is my most favourite thing at present. To me it is a real beauty, 32" long and 1.400kg, a simple brute. I wonder if a comparison with South Seas clubs would be possible- lengths, weights. We have not had a good club thread for some time. No less impressive or more common than South Seas but quite a bit cheaper

If the authorities decide to ban club weapons then I will simply insist that it is an extremely valuable Klas Oldenburg sculpture of a cucumber.

Nice score there! I saw that one on ebay but decided not to go for it. I am very glad it ended up in your collection.

Very nice sculpture of a cucumber, Tim. I always knew that you admired Klas Oldenburg and very highly appreciated his work..

Assault and battery with an 'object d'art' seems very Agatha Christie-ish

Nice piece....the 'off white' portion looks 'sinewy', is it raw hide ? Any ideas why its there ?

It is a bit of hide. The fur has been worn away so it looks like raw hide. There is some fur left on the end part where the hand does not rub. Bovine fur, do cows have fur or hair? It works as a grip and terminal

Cows have hair, no fur. At least that's the definition of the dutch farmers.
