Small African Axe For Comment

I picked this up a few years back but have recently pulled it from the back of my closet and would like to know where it is from in Africa? Fittings are Aluminum blade is steel.

Very nice axe, with a peculiar axe blade. I like it !

I have an axe in my collection which, in my humble opinion, is similar. But I must admit that mine has a more ordinary design. I think it has a Mende origin.
