I bought this really large Knife/Sword today and I am just trying to learn more about it. This thing is huge, almost 36 inches long

Northern Philippines in style with full length tang peened over the end of a horn handle, a brass ferrule and small guard. My best estimate would be from central or northern Luzon. The hilt strikes me as possibly Ilocano or from nearby, such as Pampanga (north of Manila). Ian. |
