Small Indonesian knife.
I have recently acquired this little Indonesian knife, blade 15cm long. Indonesian is all I know. It was rather rusty and I do know from here that most Indonesian knives with this layering of the steel are meant to be cleaned. I hope I have not over done it. For a light weight piece of steel it feels pretty good. Any further info on how where and why would be nice.

It's a small sewar from Sumatra or maybe the coastal region from Malaysia, a nice one, congrats! The blades are normally polished but it's ok in this state. Regards, Detlef |
