Hi everybody
Here 3 miquelets gun for comment ,the last one I guess from Algeria is with an unusual lock ( see the pic from typical Algerian one). Any comment on this gun will be welcome. Cerjak |

the upper rifle is a karanfilka (greek kariophili) and the T-stock middle gun seems to be a typical roga from western Balkans, but there is always something to think about this rifles-sometimes the carefully crafted/decorated/assembled examples indicates an italian-made musket, sold on the Balkan and ottoman market.this seems to be the case here.

Hi Cerjak!! How have you been? I've been away from the Forum for a couple months and just now catching up on all the great gun Posts.
Nice long arms you have here. Greek, Albanian, and Algerian. Wonderful. The lock you mentioned being a bit unusual on the Algerian gun looks typical to me. ![]() Great looking guns!!! Thanks for Posting. Rick. |
