Another Tibetan Dagger
Hi All

Looks like nice hairpin folding, some clearer daylight pictures would show it off better.
Seems like a good example. |

Also it would be nice to see the design on the scabbard that you have covered by the blade in the first picture.

this is definitely Bhutanese. I have one that looks like it was made by the same hand, will get some pix.

Bought one today that is the absolute image of this one, except mine has an openwork pommel cap over red leather or other material. I will post pictures when I have some done. I thought mine was Tibetan when I bought it, but Bhutanese is good . I think mine has had the blade shortened as well, judging by the profile, and the length when matched to the sheath. Total length in scabbard 12 and a half inches, 32 cm.
