Default Japanese sword

To whom could belong (Army, Fleet....)
That it for the sabre, can modular or so started, metal scabbard

Appears to be a standard WW II era shingunto (Army military sword).
Blade signed "Seki ju Kanekado saku" (Seki = town) (ju = in, lives in)
(Kanekado = smith's name) (saku = made). Pretty normal sword, seems in rather good condition.
