Although I am stoney broke at present. At a flea market this morning , took a chance on this as it was cheap and looks quite old, the blade anyway. Have I bought rubbish and wasted what little money a had. No need to be gentle with me

The blade has been glued in with some modern gunge. If it is any good I give it the juice treatment and put it back properly.

Hi Tim,
This looks like a 'Soldier Keris' from Madura; although it seems to be missing its gonjo and mendak it's still attractive . The blade could be older than the dress. How many portions ?

Thanks chaps, I did think it looked bit of a pony. The blade looked old and interesting
. How many portion? too many I think is the best answer. Still it is all about learning. Theres no fool like an old fool
