Silver thouma jambiya again.
Just as an example my recent jambiya.
They don't grow on trees but I count myself lucky to find two amazing specimens shortly after each other. This thouma has lived more than the previous one but of a very good quality silverware. No marks to be found. The blade is solid for a change but not too great quality and does not fit well so strongly suspect not original to the rest. A surprise was the belt which appeared to be embroidered with silver thread after a comment from a collector friend. Regards Marc |

What about the hilt ? Is it made of horn ? ( rhino ? ) If you insert some close up pictures... |
