Hello Bandook,

this isn't a telek but you are correct, it's a Touareg dagger. A telek is an arm dagger so far I know. See for example here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ighlight=telek

I think Detlef is right. This is probably not one of the various forms of telek. That particular knife has a cruciform (cross-shaped) hilt, thought to derive perhaps from early Christian influences. The Oriental Arms web site has several examples of the telek for comparison.

Went through the Oriental arms website on TOUAREG bt could not find anything like the one I posted.
A Bit of a variation ,members could tell more about my sword/dagger

I think it might be a bit of a stretch to call that cruciform. I mean if that's cruciform in it's outline then we could say the same of most Tulwar hilts.
