Default Ladle with cannon handle

Hi,

I get these one pretty cheap but I have no clue where it come from.

Its a kind of ladle, 33 cm long, and has a handle which look like a cannon.
The handle an the dipper seem to be of two different kind of bronze, but the supposedly fire hole is a modern attachment to hang it on an wall.

I like it, but what do you think

best from Dirk

Hello Dirk,
Without any measurements to go by but with it being made from bronze I am wondering if this might not be a shot or powder measure of some kind. Whatever it is I like it.

Best,
Robert
