Hello all,
Here is a recent addition to my collection. I was entranced by the elaborate shape and the seller's story that this is a traditional ritual knife from Nepal. It certainly does not resemble a phurba! Total length about 41cm. The blade has a slight diamond cross-section. Attached are the seller's pictures. I have not yet received the item. Any ideas? What is it? Thanks, Dave A. |

Hello Dave,
Not my area at all but it looks African to me. Someone will probably be along shortly to give you a real answer to your question. Best, Robert |

It resembles a Belgium Congo currency knife currently listed on eBay. Could that be it?

It's a common Konda knife from Congo.
