Default Sunggingan Keris Dress

Yet another eBay keris that I didn't expect to win. I've been interested in a keris with sunggingan dress, so now I have one. Just from the pictures, the work appears to be just fair, nothing great, and the blade seems average. I'm guessing it's a fairly recent piece. I like it and I got it at a low price I could afford, so it will work for me.

I agree all around. Recent keris, recent painting. Finding an old examples of sunggingan is rare. I have an old Bali example. But if the price was right and you like this then all is good.
Can't see the details too well in these photos, but i would say that as these newer examples go this one doesn't look too bad and it represents an keris ensemble that would be very expensive if antique.
