It seems that within the last year several of us have been fortunate to add really good, quality, old Moro budiaks to our collection. I picked this one up last weekend.
It is just under 8 ft. long overall, with a beautifully chiselled spearhead of 20 inches. The center panel is well defined twistcore which I believe is in its original polish. There is a typical brass sleeve, heavily patinated, securing the blade's tang. The haft is a plain bamboo one, heavily patinated, with no toe. |

Indeed a quite nice spear; the fabulous pattern of the twist core reminds me of the twingling lightplay when looking in a swimmingpool . . . . hmmmm
