Default What and when?

Hi,

Im Gilbo...I found this during a house cleanup and was thinking you guys might let me know its worth and year/what kind...etc..Im kind of in a bind with no knowledge of swords much at all....I do believe its a Turkish "Kilij"? Thats what I have learned so far. Anybody?..Thanks guys!!

Is it me? Do I need to pay to find out what I have here? Is it special? Is it worth anything? Anybody want this thing? Im just gonna throw it into my metal recycle bin.

I really prefer not to comment on an item just before it is put for sale, and I am sure this is what is preventing others from making comments as well.
