Try to find Hands of Time: The Crafts of Aceh by Barbara Leigh.
ISBN 979 428 110 7
Then there are of course dozens of old articles and books about Aceh but I think she has compiled most of it nicely together in her book.

Hi Michael thanks I just order the book ( I did have it in my collection but someone did not give it back to me)
but I am looking for a book that tells what it means if the is one 2 or 3 golden
crowns on the weapon

maybe you now a special book about this subject You are the book search expert if some one can find it it will be you.

Probably the amount of golden crowns only shows how rich the owner was?

Maybe you could find something in this article:

De Sikin by P. Vermieren from De Vrienden van het Etnografisch Museum Antwerpen, XIV(2), 2 (1987).

Haven't found it yet myself.
But you are closer to Antwerpen than I am.
Please arrange a copy for me too.
