Hi,
These are common in eastern Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, southern Ethiopia) and used by several different people groups such as the Maasai, Pokot, Turkana, etc. - ADS |

Hi Stefan,
Its from the Maasai People, native Kenya/Tanzania, Not sure on age or if it is a tourist piece as it looks very clean. Regards Ken Last edited by Kmaddock; 8th October 2023 at 09:31 PM. |

despite these being used by many tribes and ethnic groups , hey are really Loikop (Samburu) spears, very common, alongside the more typical Masai Lion spears.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loikop_people https://www.jstor.org/stable/124620 They are very common among the many tourists which flood Kenya and bring them back. http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showthread.php?t=21630 |
