A French officer flintlock musket ?
This riffle has a caliber about 16 mm. Overall 142 cm and barrel 102 cm.
I believe it could be before the French’s revolution. The marks on the trigger guard and stock seems to be the same. Any comment on it would be welcome. Best Cerjak Last edited by Cerjak; 25th October 2015 at 04:28 PM. Reason: Mistake |

Hello, Cerjak
In the book of Marcel Baldet "Les Armes a Feu", there is an array with several rifles (musquet) listed officially as a light gun (/ officiers) and cadets-gentilshommes. Among them, there are several similarities. It is all that I can decire from Argentina Affectionately. Fernando K |

Bonjour Jean-Luc,
Looks like the great majority of French muskets had a 17 mm caliber. Do you know this site ? . http://www.academie-des-armes-anciennes.com/amff.html |

Yes I Know this well documented site but infortunatly this site focuses on service weapons but muskets for officer were made on demand and it seems That there is a wide range of models often ligher than infantry musket . I have never found exactly the same. Best Jean -Luc |
