Massim pole club.
Always look forward to the first piece in a new year. Lucky my birthday is due very soon. This looks a very nice thing. 5cm shorter than one I acquired spring last year. The wood does not look as black. I just have to wait for it to arrive, it is coming from far away. I have just worked out that with shipping, duty charge + import tax @20% it will not be quite the bargain i was hoping for none the less still cheaper than the one in the link. Sellers pictures, you will need to expand the picture of the whole stick as it is rather dark. Reading recently these club sticks are more prestige display but in skilled hands they would easily stop a man.

At last I have this new club and it is really quite nice. Rather more substantial than the other one. The wood is heavy and dense but as you can see not black. This is of real fighting weight where as the black one, sure it could damage a person seems more a stick for a big fellow to tell others where to go and fight. I still think these knock the zigzags and triangles off much over priced Fijian work. Sorry about the poor light and use of flash.

Tim, great looking pieces.
Your new one appears to be king and queen ebony where the smaller old one appears only to be king ebony....at least thats what I was taught about ebony. Gav |

CONGRADULATIONS A COUPLE OF REAL BEAUTIES. I HAVE ALWAYS LIKED MASSIM CARVING DESIGNS AND THEY STAND OUT VERY WELL ON DARK HARD WOODS.
