SUCH THINGS COME FROM TIBET OR CHINA IT WOULD NOT BE A ACTUAL WEAPON BUT IS LIKELY A RITUAL WEAPON. THE PHURBA EDDIE MURPHY IS HOLDING IS SUCH A WEAPON (THE MOVIE WAS (THE GOLDEN CHILD)
THERE IS A LARGE VARIETY OF THEM MOST OF WHICH ARE FOR THE TOURIST TRADE BUT THERE ARE A FEW GUINUIE ONES AROUND THOUGH RARE. I WOULD CLASSIFY THIS FORM AS A RICTUAL BATON OR STAFF. |

I agree with Rick, a tombak. Aparantly a pamor blade worked down to a temple like chinese or tibetan artefact. I would say made for those who travel for pleasure. So Vandoo has a point as well.
