THERE ARE THOSE WHO STUDY AND COLLECT AS WELL AS THOSE WHO BUY AND SELL MOSTLY FOR PROFIT. SOME BUY AND SELL TO GET THE MONEY FOR THEIR COLLECTING. THOSE WHO COLLECT EDGED WEAPONS ARE A VERY SMALL PART OF THE SOCIETY. NO DOUBT A MUCH LARGER NUMBER COLLECT COINS OR STAMPS.
WE MAY COLLECT IN SPECIALIZED FIELDS OR PERHAPS IN ALL FIELDS. SOME SPECIALIZE IN CHINESE WEAPONS, I COLLECT IN MANY DIFFERENT FIELDS BUT AM A MASTER OF NONE. THERE ARE POSTS ON CHINESE WEAPONS YOU CAN FIND USING THE FORUM SEARCH. YOU CAN STUDY THESE AND MAKE CORRECTIONS IF NEEDED OR ADD INFORMATION TO THE POSTS OR CREATE NEW POSTS. THE FORUM IS FOR SHARING INFORMATION AND LEARNING AND CREATING A GOOD REFERENCE BUT ALSO TO HAVE FUN. SO ENJOY PERHAPS A FORUM COULD BE CREATED IN MANDARIN FOR CHINESE COLLECTORS IF THERE ARE ENOUGH COLLECTORS AND GOVERNMENT APPROVAL COULD BE GRANTED. IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR CHINESE AND COULD STILL COMMUNICATE AND UTILIZE INFORMATION WITH THIS FORUM. |
