2 jambya for id, and cleaning
two jambya who also come from an attic.
.the first has the handle in metal, measure 49cm long blade has an accident, it remains almost kofgari...can you give me its origin, and some cleaning tips!the scabbard is made of metal.. .the second has the Ivory handle, it measures 40cm long, it remains still the kofgari of both side of the blade, can you give me its originand cleaning tips!the scabbard is made of metal and wood, the fabric is gone! thank to all |

Here are the two jambya cleaned..
.the first Ivory handle has the rest of kofgari, I think that the blade is in Damascus? the second handle metal with rest of entries, I think that the blade is wootz? If you have opinions! the handle looks like Albanian handle? |

Both are Ottoman, most likely Balkan/Albanian. I also see what can be wootz pattern on one with ivory hilt. Nice attic find)
