Very nice Palembang keris, love the wood of the warangka. You can show a close-up from the ganja with the kinatah?

Is the pamor is pamor leleh, or basically a wos wutah but heated at a very high temperature, so it becomes like that?
Looks like a trace of gold on the kinatah over there. Would very much like to see the close up as well. |

The waranga is the upper part of the keris scabbard.

warangka, warongko, wrongko, rangka, rongko
all these spellings are acceptable, and refer to the entire keris scabbard, not just the top part, which in Jawa we can refer to as either the atasan or the gambar, whilst the long lower part is the gandar; in loose colloquial speech the atasan alone may be referred to as the warangka. |
