That is one of the most fearsome things I've ever seen in my life. The very expression of it is “I'm coming after you”. I'll bet that thing even flies by itself.

Hi Vandoo
The only club I can find with a remotely similar profile, is this one from the book "The Art of Tahiti" by Terence Barrow, described as from Rarotonga. The form of the grip on the Ebay piece is a bit reminiscent to that found on some Solomon Islands clubs. So - I can't really say what the Ebay item is... |

THANKS COLIN
I ADDED YOUR PICTURE TO THE COOK ISLANDS CLUB POST IT IS A NICE EXAMPLE. FOR SOME REASON I SUSPECT THE CLUB I POSTED IS A TOOL RATHER THAN WAR CLUB BUT IT IS DIFFICULT TO TELL ESPECIALLY WHEN I ONLY HAVE PICTURES AND A POOR DISCRIPTION TO GO ON. PERHAPS IT IS A WAR CLUB USED BY THE LOBSTERMEN FROM MARS. |
