Wavy dagger - info requested
hello all ... just picked up this dagger. now am not really sure which country it came from. any comments or similarly-designed blades out there? thanks in advance!

Looks like the Philippine to me Miguel. Luzon?

It's fairly recent BTW. Hard to pinpoint, but latter part of the 20thC most likely.

David, thanks for the comment Indeed on the one hand, it strikes me as Luzon, too. On the other hand, the hilt shape (i.e., cylindrical) and ornamentation (the 'dots') are not typically Filipino. That's why I had some doubts. But now that you mentioned it, perhaps it really is a Luzon dagger. Thanks.

Shape of the handle throws off... but yeah, most likely filipino. Is it carabao horn.

I agree Luzon, perhaps even Ilokano, but very recent, certainly post WWII (note the thin aluminum spacers).
