Rampuri 'chaku' indian gravity knife..?
Rampuri knife,, has anyone information on these knife, images , history and styles,, i am told they are still made today,, but i am confused the term is used in india now for any automatic knife ,
has anyone a history of these ?? |

indeed.. ive heard about these from several indians ,, but it seems they also use this term for cheap chinese made flick knives as well .. ive never seen an original, but from what ive been described they was of brass and steel and are a gravity knife swinging out of the side of the handle with a blade of about 20-30 cm long!!.. quite a beast of a thing.. i realy dont have any much more information on them, i was thinking maybe somebody here would have some information or one of these in their collection... |
