Examples of Repaired Moro Armor
Greetings folks!
I am repairing a new suit of Moro armor in my spare time (when I have some). What I am looking for are pictures of Moro armor where the horn plates have been repaired, especially from the past. Thank you. |

Thank you both.
What about when the horn plates are broken, either in half or where the links are? Are the plates totally replaced or is brass pinned to the horn with link holes? I have only seen the latter once, but am not sure this was Moro work or more recent repairs.......... |

Battara,
You know this type of thing is "out of my ballpark", but it seems to me that broken horn would have to be replaced in full. Wouldn't any other solution at least weaken the horn plate and ruin the whole purpose of the armor to start with? Just thinking. |
