Default Yemeni Warriors

Here are some photos taken by my dad in 1965 of Yemeni warriors at a gathering to bring various tribes into an alliance with the Republican government.
Lots of Jambiyas and other weapons.

...bullet-proof skin and spitting .50 cal useful little beast.

it's nice to see them wear the jambiya along with rifles. Reminds me of a picture of a Beja warrior with the large short sword/dagger at the side and an AK-47 on his shoulder.
