Please help identify these daggers.
Hello I purchased these daggers from an auction in the UK. The Teledo dagger is easy to find examples of but I'm not sure the age. Also I have seen some letter openers that Toledo make. The auctioneer said it was a 19th century dagger but it's not sharp at all. So I'm not sure if it's old or just a letter opener. Its very ornate for a letter opener. The other is definitely a military dagger. Very sharp and fuctional I just don't know how old and where it is from. There is no maker marks on the dirk. It has a rosewood handle and the mounting are silver. The blade is engraved. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thank you

Fairly classic of the type. The one with the "old-ivory" coloured grip looks like a 20th cent. Solingen decorative dagger, mentioned in another post here. The "coffin grip" looks to be older, and of the sort often called a Gamblers dagger or a Ladies (of the night) dagger. Nice Little items, I collect in that area myself.

Thank you very much for your help. I do like them very much and how they are small enough to start a nice collection.
