Default Medieval rondel dagger

Up for sale is this German rondel dagger with ring pommel from the first half of the 15th century (1400-1450). It is quite a rare type that is not sold very often.
Bought from a respected Munich auction house.

There are some minor rusty spots, but nothing dangerous and the overall condition is good. It was preserved with paraffin wax a few years ago.

For references see Schneider, Hugo: Waffen im Schweizerischen Landesmuseum: Griffwaffen I, p. 214/15.

460 EUR or 500 USD (+ Shipping)

Peter

Still for sale. I want to stress that I myself bought more for it. It's a good, authentic piece in a rare form.
