Djogja keris with interesting dapur
Who is able to give an opinion about this Djogja keris. The blade has a dapur which is not in line with any recorded dapur form the pakem I think. It shows a pogok and nice greneng with ganja wilut. Fitting is perfect. Few scattered patches of pamor (rest gone missing?). I really like to learn more about it.

Interesting that the ada-ada ends at around the 2nd luk and continues with a single kruwingan. Is this a common ricikan?

Thanks. I wonder if this is a (very) old blade from Mataram period perhaps. Look at the thinned out peksi and worn pamor.
Indeed, the question is also wether it is a rare dapur? It reminds me a bit of a Megantara dapur. |

I don’t know whether it is a rare Dhapur or not, but it is in Dhapur Keris Surakarta manuscript and as Jean and Alan said it is called Panji Paniwen. Although in the manuscript it was carved in a way that a Kinatah work will be applied.
