Snap tinder lock mechanism
Has anybody got any drawings or images of workings of the early Button activated snap tinder lock firing mechanism From the early 16th century ?

Wheellock,
If you search using "Tinderlock" or "Snaplock,....snapping matchlock, or Arquebus" you will get swamped in Michael's old threads and photos. Michael had one of the earliest known snap-locks, and found in these pages with detailed photos. Can I ask why you seek the workings for such a lock? I ask, as building such arms is of great interest to me, as time permits! Best, Richard.
