i just thought that these are very interesting knives,and anyone interested in getting a discusion going,i know not very much about them other than their country of origin,anyone know how or where they first came into being

HERE IS A LINK TO AN OLD POST ON THESE THERE IS ALSO A LINK IN THAT POST TO ANOTHER GOOD REFRENCE WHICH IS IN THE CLASSICS. A SEARCH WILL BRING UP OTHER TOPICS AS WELL QUITE A LOT OF INFORMATION HERE IN THE FORUM BUT WE DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING BUT WE ARE WORKING ON IT.
