Hi Lew, on Tribal Arms Monograph n.3 there are the knives attached that are similar to yours especially the number 21 and are attributed to the Topoke and are called trumbush, mambele, nambele, dupa. On Ijzerwerk van Centraal-Afrika, Westerdijk attributed some similar knives to the mangbetu (i will post a pic later). To be honest i don't kow how near are the mangbetu and the topoke.

Hi Lew the two tribes are not so neighbouring... I think your knife is more mangbetu or of a linked tribe.
