What is this?
Hi!
Been away for a looonnnggg time. Anybody know what this is? Too short for a walking stick. Too big for a baton? Can’t sell it on ebay (concealed knives aren’t allowed in ebay policy). Maybe some here may be interested. I got this from the Islamic City of Marawi. There’s some okir design, so this should be Moro. I think the ferrule is ivory, but can’t be so sure. OAL: 22-1/4" / 56.5cm blade length: 14-3/4" / 37.5cm Thanks! Bobby T |

Hi Bobby. Welcome back.
Is the blade triangular? Maybe a bayonet remounted as a sword cane/swagger stick. |

Andrew,
Blade is rectangular. Haven't seen a bayonet yet, but maybe you're right. Thanks! Bob |

These were produced in India for the tourist trade between about 1960-1980. They came in 2 lengths, cane and swagger stick. Blades are usually dead soft.
