Default Small bichaq for translation & comments

Hello,

Can anybody help me with the translation of the cartouche on the bichaq in the photos below?

Any other comments pertaining the small size, purpose and origin would be welcomed.

Hi,
Here is one similar http://vikingsword.com/vb/showthread...ghlight=bichaq.
Hope your examples shed more light as they are in better shape than mine i.e. your inscription is still in good condition and should give additional info.
My Regards,
Norman.

Thank you Norman for the link!

Somebody suggested that the cartouche said something like "there is no God but Allah."

Then it would make sense to have it removed if it was used by a Christian.

They are made to look like ottoman kard knives, but i think they are wery well made indian. Not sure, but that metal i seen on indian made high quality yatagans and kards.
They dont look original to me.
