I haven't seen as many drawings before on the same barong. It seems like these motifs are found on the shandigans? I have one and there is one other at the Met with similar combinations of motifs. But yours are the best so far! Michael |

Wow those are cool lookin! They look like sea serpents from the ocean. On the very top drawing, they may have added the other 4 legged animal to give reference to show how large the sea serpent is in comparison to a land animal. I don't know anything about these drawings, but thats just my uneducated observation. The star is interesting with it being 8 sided...wonder what that signifies. Which ones forsale???
