Default American sword?

Hope you don't mind this newbie asking a lot of questions. I just get to see some blades around here. Saw this in my usual source in Marawi.

This blade says "US Army" on the blade; there's even an American eagle with its wings spread. But exactly on the opposite side of that US Army marking is the Star of David.

Is this a real old US Army sword? Or one of those "commissioned"?

Many thanks!
