Default Military storage box identification.

I will very appreciate any kind assistance in order to identify the attached military accessory. Silver trinket storage box probably for animal fat for lubricate sword blades or storage spare flints for flintlock guns. I suspect it is of Ottoman origin equipment in order to be attached at the belt.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Leo,

Welcome to the Ethnographic Forum. Since your item is not an ethnographic edged weapon or gun, I'm transferring it across to the Miscellaneous Forum for further discussion.

Regards,

Ian

Measurements, side and views of the back would be helpful too.

It does look Ottoman to me, more specifically from Bosnia, due to the type of filigree used.
