Default Tibetan 'down home' knife

Found this at an outdoor market for the price of a medium-fancy meal for two. Sheath covered with thin leather. Heavy blade; at first glance doesn't look like "hairpin folding". Full length 15 1/2 inches. Blade 11 inches. The back is 1/4 in. thick at the back of the hilt. I would love more info.

Thank you! I was wondering about its origin.

Is there a chance that the blade has 'hairpin folding', or is it (Probably) monosteel? Do you think it would be worthwhile to try etching it?

If you can try to post the two sides of the dagger, that could help. I think it's probably not but... who knows
