Visit to Armeria Real, Tornio (Turin) Italy

Slideshow and video here:

This is a really fascinating but small museum. Three rooms only. I went with my wife and her friend who speaks Italian. The pictures I am including here are the only ones I could take before I was busted and had to put the camera away. On the plus side, this guy turned out to be the caretaker and he offered to give us a tour (this is where the friend who knows Italian was handy). He was very knowledgable and as soon as I had passed a few of his little "tests" he got really excited about showing us around. These rooms are packed and you can easily spend a couple hours (well, I could, not my wife)!

Lots of armor in the slideshow at link above!

Best regards,
Dave A.

Thanks Dave. I love those two particular Ottoman Turkish suits in the forground. I've got pics of them in a few other books and they're really nice examples of the mail and plates familly of armours.
